Same with Amex. @FS - Luckily she has already curbed the habit, and is paying off the debt, but her featureless, rewardless, and high APR card isn't helping the situation. Definitely glad she isn't one to blame the debt on a "crappy" credit card. @Matt – yeah… this card is a beast when it comes to features.

Doing a balance transfer is only a temporary fix. Advising you to get another card when you already have trouble paying your debt is like advising a recovering alcoholic to go bar-hopping with me.
