Since Groupon started a few weeks ago in the DC area, I have been excited to get their daily e-mails. Groupon has already saved me money at some of my favorite locations around town, allowing me to go out and have a good time in style, without having to spend a fortune.
I will let the Groupon people themselves explain how it works.
Groupon isn’t only in DC though. They offer great deals in Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, Dallas, Detroit, Los Angeles, New York, San Francisco, and Seattle.
Here are just some of the deals they have had lately around DC.

- $30 for an Hour Long Massage at Lunar Massage

I think the concept is amazing. I recently received an e-mail from Thrillist about a similar service: BuyWithMe.com. I haven’t tried either, but they seem cool.
I think I’ll look out for another deeply discounted massage.
