Since joining the personal finance blogging community I have met a handful of awesome people. What seems to stand out amongst this crowd as opposed to other friends and acquaintences that I have made over the years is that these people either have their shit together, or are trying to get their shit together. Both qualities are admirable.

Below is a collection of bloggers I have either met personally or had extensive contact with. I may not check their blogs as regularly as those on my blogroll, but I respect each of these individuals as a person and as writers and I hope you will take the time to go and check their content out.

Kelly has been an awesome friend over the past few months. She has offered me sage advice and has put up with hearing all the ranting of a single guy in the dating world. She is an awesome mom of 4 and is a staff writer on some of my favorite blogs.
Revanche is as cool of a chick as I could ever know. Not only can i sit and talk comic books with her for hours, she is also has a good ear for personal finance problems. She likes having her personal finance blog mirror her personality and that is the reason she is successful.
I've been talking with MD over the past few months and we have discussed a lot of different blogging related issues; monetization, content, etc. He is quite a smart kid for his age (makes me feel old, although he probably won't like me saying that), and i respect his opinions a great deal.
Jeff has an awesome story (which you can check out on my Foul Ups page). Compound that with the fact he and I both have extensive experience delivering pizzas, and he and i were meant to hit it off as friends. His tweets when he is delivering is some of the best entertainment out there. Make sure to follow him if you aren't.
I recently met MPP at the December Blogger Happy Hour here in DC. She seems like a really cool chick and i hope she keeps coming out each month to hang out with us bloggers. If you ever wanted to find out what a girl in DC spends each week, head on over to her site.
I can't say enough about Flexo. He is one of the original Personal Finance bloggers and i really feel honored that he has reached out and been helpful and supportive of My Next Buck. For a big time blogger, he is quite humble and really writes some of the most enjoyable content of any blogger out there.
Mrs. Micah is one of the nicest bloggers I have met. She has been very encouraging and helpful since I got my start. She is also a joy to be around. Nothing better than having a sexy librarian as part of your social group.
J. Money may be my favorite blogger. He not only is edgy and fun, he is a great guy that really cares about his audience. I love reading his stuff daily and even more so, I just enjoy talking to the guy.
Jim is one of those professional bloggers that finds time to connect to his audience. His help on my blog has been great and his content is top-notch. Also check Jim out on the Personal Finance Hour each week.
I have read and agree with the fact that Matt Jabs is the hardest working PF Blogger out there. Yet he still has time to give me some feedback and hook me up with some fresh perspective. His content is rich and vibrant and I enjoy each time I go to his site.
Mapgirl is awesome. Nothing else needs to be said. She has become a friend outside of blogging and that is what makes her great. She has been looking out for me since we met a few months back and people like that are very hard to find.
I am not sure which one of Craig's blogs to pimp out here. He works on Budget Pulse, but he also has an entertaining blog called The Movie Banter. I recommend checking them both out for some good financial tools and some witty entertainment.
Debt Hater is a hilarious blogger that I really enjoyed meeting. She has gotten out of debt and now is working on the age-old question of "What next?" She is currently working on the good ol' emergency fund.
I have met both James and Miel and they are great people. I may not check their blog as often as I should, but when I do, I am there for hours. Oh and for those wondering, DINKs stands for "Dual Income, No Kids".
Clever Dude surely is a clever guy. Hearing his story had a profound impact on me and reading his tips on how to get started blogging really helped me get through my first month of writing.
I met Pinyo in late August of 2009. He is a great guy and really really enjoyable to have a drink with. For the record its Moolanomy pronounced as "Moolah" and "onomy" like astronomy. Moolanomy!
Peter writes some amazing content. I enjoy hearing his perspective on things as well as talking to him. He has been an awesome contributing commenter on my previous site and I look forward to seeing him around My Next Buck.
What is there to say about Baker other than he is a "Superstar!". The newest staff writer at Get Rich Slowly, has been writing great stuff since day 1. Couple that with an amazing life adventure he and his family are on, makes Baker's stuff a must-read. He is an awesome guy, and his Indiana roots connect with my college days.
Kathryn is a professional writer or a professional blogger. She has a hard time describing to some people what she does, but what we do know is that she writes great stuff on a wide variety of topics. She is a professional for a reason and I look forward to following her articles, wherever they may pop up.
Brad hates debt. Let me say that again Brad HATES debt! His vision for his future of living without owing money to anyone is quite remarkable. I love seeing his posts and reading his stories as he progresses through his financial journey.
Stephanie just moved to the area and I am pumped. She is from my old stomping grounds in Western/Upstate NY and now she is down here in DC. Finding another PF blogger in her young 20's helps me to gain a fresh perspective on the identical issues impacting me.
Shawanda has a great site and it has really been a delight to read as she posts more and more. She has been fun to read and see her comments on the things that I write. I really can't wait to see her reaction to some of the stuff i have planned for the rest of 2009 and 2010.
